Family Recovery Coaching

When Addiction Enters the Family, Everyone Feels It

When Addiction Enters the Family, Everyone Feels It

When Addiction Enters the Family, Everyone Feels It

Loving someone with substance use disorder is heartbreaking and incredibly isolating. You walk on eggshells, constantly manage crises, or hide the truth from friends and family to protect your loved one… and yourself. You live in a state of survival because that's what it takes when addiction enters your home univited. It’s overwhelming. It’s exhausting. And it can feel like there’s no clear way out.

But there is.

Family Coaching Offers a Way Forward

When Addiction Enters the Family, Everyone Feels It

When Addiction Enters the Family, Everyone Feels It

Family coaching is flexible because families are all different. I work with individuals one-on-one and with families as a group, whatever fits your situation best. Some families come for a single session consultation to work through a specific challenge; others choose ongoing support to walk through a longer stretch together. We'll figure out the right fit for you. Sessions are virtual, so we can stay consistent no matter where you are. Together, we'll build a plan tailored to your family and adjust it as things change. This isn’t just support. It's the beginning of transformation. Coaching meets you exactly where you are. It offers a safe, structured space to:

  • Understand addiction as an illness, not a moral failure
  • Education around recovery
  • Break free from unhelpful patterns
  • Emotional support and stress management
  • Learn how to set healthy boundaries that honor both you and your loved one
  • Communication skills
  • How to respond vs. react
  • Rebuild your inner strength and clarity
  • Learn how to support your loved one without losing yourself
  • ...and more, or less depending on your need

Coaching is not Therapy

Family coaching is practical, forward-focused support, not therapy, and not a substitute for clinical care. We're not here to diagnose or treat; we're here to help you understand what you're facing, respond in ways that actually help, and take care of yourself through it. It's real-world guidance for a real-world situation, focused on where you are now and where you want to go.

You Matter Too

Your recovery is just as important as your loved one’s recovery.
When you feel informed and grounded, you're in a better position to offer the kind of support that promotes real change. This is not about doing more - it’s about doing things differently.

“Amy helped us breathe again. She gave us direction, understanding, and hope at a time we didn’t know what to do.”
