Your Trusted Partner

Smiling woman in blue sweater sitting on a white bench.

Meet Amy, MS, CIP, LFCCI

Intervention and working with families aren't side interests of mine - they're my life's work. For nearly 15 years, I've guided individuals and families through the full arc of this experience: from the first frightening realization that someone they love is in trouble, through the intervention itself, and into the long, hopeful work of recovery that follows.

As a Love First Certified Clinical Interventionist, Certified Intervention Professional, Structured Family Recovery® Counselor, and Certified ARISE® Interventionist, I've trained in some of the most respected, evidence-informed models in the field. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Science in Substance Abuse Counseling, and I continue to practice and grow as a clinician. But credentials are only part of the picture. What shapes my work most is a clear understanding of how addiction actually moves through a family, and a conviction that the whole family, not only the person struggling, deserves care. Because addiction never happens in isolation. It reaches everyone in the home - partners, parents, children, siblings - and recovery works best when it includes them. I approach every situation with your family's best interest in mind, helping your family move from fear and confusion toward clarity, unity, and action. My role is part strategist, part guide, and part steady presence in the middle of the storm.

My expertise is also grounded in years of hands-on, frontline work. For nine years, I served within the residential level of care and in sober living as a Program Director. I've supported families through the treatment process from the inside, guided individuals through the day-to-day realities of early recovery, facilitated groups, and helped run the program to which families entrust their loved ones. That experience means I understand not just the theory of recovery, but how it actually works on the ground — what quality care looks like, what families and their loved ones need at each stage, and how to help everyone move forward together.

I also bring something that can't be taught in a classroom: my own recovery. I know what it is to be the person a family is afraid of losing, and I know what it takes to find the way back. That lived experience sits beside my professional training in every conversation, so the families I work with have someone who understands this road from both sides and who holds steady hope for what's possible. Above all, my work is anchored in ethics and independence. I hold no financial ties to treatment centers, which means every recommendation I make comes down to one thing: what is genuinely best for you and the person you love.

If you've found your way here, you're likely carrying something heavy. You don't have to carry it alone any longer.
